Estimates, not diagnoses
The BMI calculator and the calorie calculator use published formulas, the WHO BMI bands and the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, which describe groups of people well and individuals less so. A muscular athlete can have a high BMI and be perfectly healthy. Use the numbers as a starting point and talk to a doctor about anything that worries you.
The due date calculator counts 280 days from the first day of the last period, as Naegele's rule does; only about one baby in twenty-five arrives on that exact day.
Training by numbers
Heart rate zones from the heart rate zone calculator are percentages of your maximum, which varies between people of the same age; a measured maximum beats the age-based estimates the calculator offers. The one-rep max calculator estimates your best single lift from a set of several repetitions, so you can plan training loads without testing a true maximum.
To predict a race from one you have run, use the race time predictor; it assumes you have trained for the longer distance.
