Privacy, plainly.

TOEA is designed to process only what a tool needs and retain as little as possible.

Tool inputs

Browser-only tools, including the thumbnail and chapter tools, process their inputs on your device. Tools that must inspect a public website or public YouTube data send the URL to TOEA’s API for that request. The API does not save tool inputs or results, and responses are not cached.

Third-party requests

Website inspection tools contact the public URL you provide. YouTube tools may contact YouTube to retrieve public metadata or caption data. TOEA does not sign in on your behalf or bypass access controls.

Analytics and logs

We collect coarse product events such as internal page path, tool opened, tool success or error, and copy or download actions. These events do not contain cookies, account identifiers, tool inputs, result contents, or URLs entered into a tool. Short tool-search phrases may be collected to identify missing utilities only after automated filtering rejects URLs, email-like text, long number sequences, and other unsafe shapes. Analytics is skipped when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.

Cookies and Google Analytics

TOEA does not require an account. We use Google Analytics to see which pages and tools are used, from which countries and devices. It is not loaded when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or inside embedded widgets. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland its cookies are off and it sends only cookieless measurements; elsewhere it sets first-party cookies (_ga) to count returning visits. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. TOEA shows no ads and sets no advertising cookies; if that changes, this policy and the consent controls will be updated first.

Reminders with the tab closed

The online timer, alarm clock, pomodoro timer, eye break reminder, and water reminder can send reminders when their page is closed, if you switch that on. The page then subscribes your browser with its push service (from Google, Mozilla, Apple, or Microsoft, depending on the browser) and sends TOEA's server that push address and the reminder times, never labels or what you log. Each reminder is deleted once it is sent or cancelled, and everything is deleted when you switch the option off or the push service reports the subscription gone.
