Calendar / date offsets
365 Days from Today
Set a fixed 365-day follow-up for a journal, equipment log or annual data comparison. Around 29 February, a 365-day offset can differ from the same calendar date next year. Compare the weekday and ISO week-year before adding the all-day reminder.
365 Days from Today: Find the date after three hundred and sixty-five elapsed days for a daily photo project, annual-style progress review or fixed-length log. This is a day-count anniversary. It may differ from the same month and day next year when February 29 falls within the interval. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

A fixed year-length example
Let O be the original date.
Target = O + 365 calendar days. Starting on 1 January 2025, move through the whole non-leap year to 1 January 2026, a Thursday. Since 365 = 52 × 7 + 1, the weekday advances by one place. Starting in leap year 2024 instead produces 31 December 2024.
Choosing between a log and an anniversary
For a photo-a-day project, decide whether the start is entry one or the baseline before any entries. With the first photo already taken on the starting date, photo number three hundred and sixty-five falls after three hundred and sixty-four elapsed days. For a progress review, keep the original measurement conditions in your notes as well as its date.
The US Naval Observatory leap-year explanation (https://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/calendars) states the Gregorian century exceptions. This is why “next year” and a fixed three-hundred-and-sixty-five-day addition are not interchangeable across all years.

Frequently asked questions
Will 365 days always land on my next anniversary?
A named anniversary usually repeats a month and day. A fixed three-hundred-and-sixty-five-day count follows elapsed dates instead. From 1 January 2024 it reaches 31 December 2024 because that year contains a leap day.
How many weekly entries fit into a 365-day log?
There are fifty-two complete weeks and one remaining day. A weekly review series can therefore have fifty-two seven-day intervals, followed by a final daily entry. A leap-year calendar log covering every date would need three hundred and sixty-six entries.
What starting date should I use for a yearly progress comparison?
Use the date of the original measurement. If your comparison requires the same named date next year, choose that calendar anniversary separately. If it requires the same elapsed duration for every participant, the fixed day count can be appropriate.
