Calendar / date offsets
45 Days from Today
Place a six-week-plus-three-day checkpoint on a project schedule, or estimate a due date when an invoice explicitly says 45 calendar days. The weekday readout helps you notice a weekend before arranging a review meeting or payment reminder.
45 Days from Today: Place a forty-five-day checkpoint on a longer project: a design review, a supplier follow-up or a practice programme you have chosen to run for this length. Forty-five days provides six full weeks plus three days, allowing a review after several weekly cycles without waiting for a full quarter. The starting date is day zero. Weekdays exclude it and include the target. Business days mean Monday–Friday; public holidays are included.

Six weeks and three additional days
For a starting date S, the calendar target is S + 45 days.
From 1 January 2025, move thirty days to 31 January, then fifteen more days to 15 February 2025. The result is Saturday. Equivalently, 45 = 6 × 7 + 3, so the weekday shifts forward by three places.
A checkpoint between monthly and quarterly reviews
For example, a prototype team can reserve this marker to collect feedback before the next build, while a learner can use it to compare early and later practice recordings. Choose a concrete review question and identify what material must be ready. A weekend target can remain the actual elapsed-date marker even when the meeting is separately arranged for Monday.
The civil-calendar background from the US Naval Observatory (https://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/calendars) covers the month structure behind this calculation. For forty-five days, keeping a fixed count avoids the ambiguity of fractional months.

Frequently asked questions
Is forty-five days exactly six weeks?
No. Six weeks contain forty-two calendar days, leaving three additional days. A Wednesday starting date therefore produces a Saturday target in calendar mode. Weekend availability may matter if your checkpoint requires a meeting.
How can I use a 45-day supplier follow-up?
Set the starting date to the date of the agreed milestone, then save a reminder to check progress. If the agreement specifies working days, use that convention and account separately for holidays. This page supplies a date, not a promised delivery time.
Does forty-five days mean a month and a half?
That phrase is approximate because months have different lengths. For a precise plan, retain forty-five as the day count. A schedule written in calendar months needs its own month-based rule.
