Calendar / date offsets
120 Days from Today
Put a 120-day procurement review, course checkpoint or document-refresh reminder on the calendar. This is a fixed day interval: a four-month milestone may fall on another date. Use the weekday total to estimate how many ordinary working dates fit before the review.
120 Days from Today: Set a one-hundred-and-twenty-day horizon for a four-block programme, an event preparation schedule or a longer maintenance review. Dividing the span into four thirty-day blocks gives equal elapsed lengths. Use it when your plan is measured in days, rather than assuming that four calendar months will end on this date. The starting date is day zero. Weekdays exclude it and include the target. Business days mean Monday–Friday; public holidays are included.

Four equal blocks, one original anchor
If S is the starting date, the final target is S + 120 days.
With S = 1 January 2025, ninety days reach 1 April. April then contributes thirty further moves to 1 May 2025, a Thursday. The full interval equals seventeen weeks and one additional day, advancing the weekday by one.
Organising a longer preparation programme
An event organiser could use the first block to define scope, the second to arrange materials, the third to rehearse and the fourth to check readiness. Those assignments are examples you can adapt. A maintenance review could instead compare four equal sampling windows. In either case, name the deliverable for each block and keep the start date consistent across your notes.
Gregorian conventions are described by the US Naval Observatory (https://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/calendars). Their month and leap-day rules explain why equal thirty-day blocks and four calendar months are different ways to organise time.

Frequently asked questions
Is one hundred and twenty days always four months?
No. Four named months can contain a different number of days. From 1 January 2025, 120 elapsed days reach 1 May, but that convenient alignment is not a rule for every start date or leap year.
How can I place four equally spaced review points?
Use offsets of 30, 60, 90 and 120 calendar days from the same original starting date. Do not recalculate each review from the day a delayed meeting happens unless you deliberately want to shift the whole programme.
Why might an event plan need a separate deadline?
The endpoint is a planning marker. A venue booking, equipment delivery or submission may have its own agreed date and time. Record those separately so a one-hundred-and-twenty-day preparation plan does not overwrite a fixed external appointment.
