Calendar / date offsets
30 Days from Today
Find a 30-day follow-up date for a purchase return, invoice reminder or personal challenge. A 30-day interval does not always end on the same date next month. Change the starting date to the purchase or invoice date when that is the event your terms count from.
30 Days from Today: Find the endpoint of a thirty-day planning window for a reading challenge, habit log or purchase follow-up. This span is useful when you want thirty dated entries rather than a named calendar month. The starting date and day count stay editable, so a challenge begun earlier can use its actual first date. The starting date is day zero. Weekdays exclude it and include the target. Business days mean Monday–Friday; public holidays are included.

Thirty elapsed dates, worked example
Let S be the starting date and D the destination.
D = S + 30 calendar days. Beginning on 1 January 2025, there are thirty moves through the calendar before 31 January 2025: January 2 is the first move and January 31 is the thirtieth. The weekday is Friday. The starting date itself adds no elapsed day.
A month-long review without a monthly assumption
You could use this endpoint to review thirty days of reading notes, decide whether a new routine is practical or check progress on an order. Write down what you intend to review before setting the reminder. A monthly subscription renewal may instead follow a matching day of the month; use its documented renewal date rather than substituting this offset.
The Gregorian month and leap-year conventions described by the US Naval Observatory (https://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/calendars) explain why February, a thirty-day interval and a calendar month can end on different dates.
How to use it
- Read the 30-day result for your local date, or change the starting date and number of days.
- Choose calendar days or business days; the starting date is excluded.
- Read the weekday count and ISO week number, then download an all-day calendar reminder.

Frequently asked questions
Will a thirty-day challenge end on the same date next month?
Often it will not. From 31 January 2025, thirty elapsed calendar days reach 2 March. A challenge measured by entries should use its stated day count rather than assume that February supplies thirty dates.
If I write the first entry today, which day is entry thirty?
This calculator treats today as day zero. If today is entry one, the thirtieth entry occurs after twenty-nine elapsed days. Enter 29 for that inclusive journal convention, and label the reminder accordingly.
Can I use this for a thirty-day return window?
Use it to explore a window that your own purchase terms actually specify. Check which event starts the count, whether the first date counts, and whether the seller uses calendar days. The calculator does not establish a return entitlement.
