Counting to a three-digit milestone
Let A be the anchor date.
Milestone = A + 100 calendar days. Starting at 1 January 2025, ninety days reach 1 April and the remaining ten reach 11 April 2025, a Friday. The count decomposes as 100 = 14 × 7 + 2, so the final weekday is two places after the starting weekday.
Making the hundred-day record comparable
For a writing challenge, decide whether each numbered day means a calendar entry or a completed writing session. A missed session does not move an elapsed-date endpoint, but it can move a completed-session milestone. For a project review, collect decisions and results against the original plan so the round number does not replace a clear definition of success.
The US Naval Observatory introduction (https://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/calendars) explains the Gregorian basis for the date. Hundred-day challenges are user-chosen plans; no calendar standard defines a universal duration for their activities.

Where does day one hundred fall if today is labelled day one?
One hundred dated entries span ninety-nine elapsed days from the first entry to the last. This tool begins with day zero. Use 99 if the first dated entry is already today and you want the date of entry one hundred.
How many weekly reviews fit before this milestone?
One hundred days contains fourteen complete weeks and two extra days. You can place fourteen weekly reviews at seven-day intervals, then leave the final two dates for assembling the results or reflecting on the challenge.
Can I use the target for a school’s hundredth day?
A school milestone may count attendance days and exclude closures or holidays. Calendar mode counts every date; weekday mode still includes weekday holidays. Use the school’s actual attendance calendar for an official hundredth-school-day event.
