Work / Part-time
Part-time Pay and Hours Calculator (Teilzeit)
Estimate proportional gross pay from full-time and part-time weekly hours. Compare the working-time percentage and hourly rate, and optionally scale annual holiday days using working days per week.
Part-time Pay and Hours Calculator (Teilzeit): The ratio of part-time to full-time weekly hours scales monthly gross pay. The hourly rate uses monthly pay × 3 ÷ 13 ÷ weekly hours. Holiday days use the ratio of working days per week instead of hours, so shorter hours on the same days do not reduce annual leave. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Pay is proportional to weekly hours. The hourly rate uses 13 weeks per quarter and remains the same when hours and pay scale together. Holiday days = full-time holiday × part-time working days ÷ full-time working days; working shorter hours on the same days does not reduce holiday days. Low earnings can fall under special social-insurance rules (Minijob / Midijob). This is a gross-pay estimate; contract terms and deductions can differ.
Pay and hours
For 40 full-time hours and 20 part-time hours, the working-time percentage is 50% and proportional gross monthly pay is half the full-time amount. The hourly rate stays the same.
Holiday basis
Enter the full-time working-week day count explicitly; it defaults to five. Holiday output is left unspecified until both annual leave and part-time working days are supplied. This estimate does not decide contractual or statutory rounding.
