Frequently asked questions
How do I type the four Ukrainian-specific letters?
Use S for Ukrainian i, Quote for ye, BracketRight for yi and Backslash for ghe with upturn. Shift gives capitals.
Is this the same as a Russian keyboard?
No. Ukrainian has its own letters and key positions. Russian letters such as yery are not substitutes for Ukrainian i.
Where is the Ukrainian apostrophe?
Use the Backquote position for a curly apostrophe, or Shift plus Backquote for a straight apostrophe. Copy the form required by your document or spelling convention.
