Thai Keyboard: Type with Thai Kedmanee

Type Thai messages, personal names and language exercises using the familiar Kedmanee layout, including tone marks and shifted digits.

Thai Keyboard: Type with Thai Kedmanee: Kedmanee has separate base and Shift characters rather than uppercase and lowercase letters. Frequently asked questions

Does Thai use Caps lock for capital letters?

Thai has no uppercase and lowercase distinction. Use Shift to reach the second set of characters; this page does not use Caps lock to change Thai letters.

Why do marks stack above a consonant?

Thai vowel and tone marks combine with a base character. The font places them around the consonant. Enter marks in the correct spelling order rather than arranging their visual positions yourself.

How do I type Thai digits?

Hold Shift to see digit positions on the top row and the Q position. Kedmanee places digits differently from a Latin number row, so follow the visible key labels.
