Webcam Photo Booth
Take a photo with your webcam in the browser: pick a look, soften skin, crop to a square, portrait, or passport size, and download it.
Webcam Photo Booth: TOEA shows the camera through the crop and look you choose, so what you see is what you get, then draws one frame at full camera resolution, or at the exact pixel size a passport format needs, and saves it as JPG or PNG. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Camera height and light
A laptop camera below eye level looks up at your chin; raise the laptop on a few books so the lens sits at eye height. Face the brightest window or lamp rather than sitting with it behind you, which turns you into a silhouette, and avoid a single overhead light that shades the eyes. For a passport-style photo, stand a step or two away from the wall so your shadow does not fall on the background.
Choosing JPG or PNG
A camera frame is a photograph, so JPG, saved here at high quality, is the right choice for almost every use and is what official photo portals usually ask for. PNG is lossless but several times larger without looking better. The passport formats come out at 413 × 531 pixels for 35 × 45 mm and 600 × 600 for 2 × 2 inches; if a form sets a file-size cap, the image compressor brings a JPG under it. For a photo you already have, use the passport photo maker.
How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Is this a real passport photo?
It gives the right size and proportions, 35 × 45 mm at 300 dpi or 2 × 2 inches, with a guide for head placement. Requirements for background, expression, and lighting are yours to meet; a plain light wall and even light in front of you go a long way.
What does soft skin do?
It blends a slightly blurred copy of the picture over the sharp one, which evens skin texture while eyes, hair, and edges stay defined. It is a soft-focus effect, not face reshaping.
Why is the photo mirrored, or not?
Mirror is on by default because that is how people expect to see themselves. Turn it off for a photo other people will look at, so text and partings appear the right way round.
Can I use a phone?
Yes, in a mobile browser; the front camera is used. Photo quality depends on the camera and the light more than on anything here.
