Online Mirror
Use your camera as a mirror: a flipped live view with brightness, zoom, a light ring for dark rooms, full screen, and a photo when you want one.
Online Mirror: TOEA shows your camera's live picture flipped left to right, the way a mirror shows you, with brightness and zoom applied as you watch. The light ring turns the edge of the screen white so it lights your face. A photo saves the picture exactly as the mirror shows it. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Mirror image and camera image
A mirror reverses left and right, so the face you see every morning is the reversed one. A camera does not, which is why a photo of yourself can look slightly wrong: faces are not perfectly symmetrical, and you are used to the mirror version. The mirror view is on by default; turn it off to see yourself as other people and video calls see you.
Photos you take keep whichever view is showing, along with the zoom and brightness, so what you save is what you saw.
Getting a clear picture
Light matters more than the camera. Face a window or a lamp rather than having it behind you; in a dark room, the light ring turns the edge of the screen white to light your face from the front. Brightness in the mirror only brightens the picture after the camera has taken it, so it cannot add detail the camera did not capture, but it makes a dim picture easier to see.
If the picture is black, frozen, or the browser does not ask for the camera, check it with the webcam test, which names what went wrong. To take styled or cropped photos, use the webcam photo booth.
How to use it
- Turn on the mirror and allow the camera when the browser asks.
- Adjust brightness and zoom, turn on the light ring in a dark room, or go full screen.
- Freeze the picture to look closely, or take a photo and download it.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a mirror flip the picture?
A mirror shows you reversed left to right, which is the face you are used to. A camera shows you as others see you. Turn off Mirror image to see that view; text behind you then reads the right way round.
Does the light ring really help?
In a dark room, yes: a bright white screen close to your face is a soft light. It works best with the screen brightness turned up and the mirror in full screen, so more of the screen is white.
Is the zoom as sharp as a real mirror?
Zoom enlarges the camera's own picture, so detail is limited by the camera. A phone's front camera is usually sharper than a laptop webcam.
Is anything recorded?
No. The picture goes from the camera to the screen and nowhere else. Only a photo you choose to take is saved, and only when you download it.
