PAU (Selectividad) Grade Calculator
Calculate your PAU access mark out of 10 and admission mark out of 14 from your Bachillerato average, access-phase exams, and weighted subjects.
PAU (Selectividad) Grade Calculator: By Real Decreto 534/2024, the access mark is 0.6 × the Bachillerato average plus 0.4 × the access-phase mark, which must be at least 4; access needs 5 or more. The admission mark adds the two best weighted subjects passed with 5 or more, each multiplied by the weighting the university sets for the degree, up to 14. The access-phase subject of your modality can also count as a weighted subject. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Access = 0.6 × Bachillerato average + 0.4 × access phase. Admission = access + a × M1 + b × M2, by Real Decreto 534/2024.
Planning your subjects
With 10 in the access mark, two subjects weighted 0.2 and marked 10 add 4 points, to 14. Choosing admission-phase subjects that your preferred degrees weight at 0.2 matters as much as the marks.
To average your Bachillerato marks first, use a grade average calculator with weights.
Cut-off marks
A degree's cut-off mark (nota de corte) is the admission mark of the last student admitted the previous year. It changes each year with demand, so compare your admission mark with the last few years, not one.
How to use it
- Enter your Bachillerato average.
- Enter your access-phase exam marks, or the phase mark.
- Add the admission-phase subjects with the weighting (0.1 or 0.2) your degree gives them, and read your marks.

Frequently asked questions
What weighting does my degree give each subject?
Each university publishes a table of weightings for each degree, usually 0.1 or 0.2 for subjects related to it. Check the table of the university you are applying to.
Can I improve my mark next year?
Yes: you can sit the exams again to raise your mark; the higher one counts. Admission-phase marks are valid for the two following academic years.
Is the PAU the same as the EBAU or EvAU?
Yes: the exam was called EBAU, EvAU, or ABAU in different regions and is now the PAU everywhere, with the same calculation.
