Resize GIF: Width, Height and Percentage
Resize an animated GIF with smooth resampling. Set exact dimensions, scale by a percentage or choose a 480 px wide or square emoji preset.
Resize GIF: Width, Height and Percentage: Starts at no more than 480 pixels wide, preserving the original ratio. Smooth resampling changes the dimensions of every displayed frame while keeping timing and repeat settings. The Discord emoji preset sets 128 × 128 pixels; crop to a square first if stretching would change the subject's shape. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

GIF colour tables
GIF stores indexed colours and image dimensions. Smoothly resized frames are mapped into a shared palette when saved. Specification: https://www.w3.org/Graphics/GIF/spec-gif89a.txt
Playback timing
Image dimensions do not change the stored delay, though actual playback depends on the browser. Firefox delay normalisation: https://github.com/mozilla/gecko-dev/blob/master/image/FrameTimeout.h
How to use it
- Choose a GIF.
- Enter dimensions or a percentage, or choose a preset; keep the aspect lock to preserve shape.
- Check the live result and download the resized animation.
Privacy & limitations

Frequently asked questions
Does the emoji preset crop my GIF?
No. It resizes to a 128 × 128 square. A non-square image is stretched, so use Crop GIF with 1:1 first if you want to preserve its shape.
Can I make a GIF larger?
Yes, within the dimension and memory limits. Enlarging does not restore missing detail.
Why do the colours change slightly?
Smooth resampling introduces intermediate shades. GIF must map the result back into a limited colour palette.
