Ramadan Timetable (Imsakiyah)

A printable Ramadan timetable for your city: Imsak, Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib for breaking the fast, and Isha for every day of the month.

Ramadan Timetable (Imsakiyah): The timetable calculates each day's prayer times with the method you choose, starting from the first of Ramadan in the Umm al-Qura calendar. The fast runs from Imsak or Fajr to Maghrib. With Umm al-Qura, Isha is 120 minutes after Maghrib in Ramadan. Where the month starts by sighting the new moon, as in Indonesia, the first day can differ by a day, so the start date can be changed. Planning the day in Ramadan

Suhur is best finished before Imsak, leaving time to drink water; iftar begins at Maghrib. Fasting hours change by a few minutes over the month, more far from the equator, so a printed timetable on the fridge saves checking each day.

For the times on any other day of the year, use prayer times; to see Hijri dates beside Western ones, the calendar converter.

When the month begins

Ramadan begins when the new crescent moon is sighted or, by some authorities, when astronomical calculation says it can be. Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs announces the start after its sighting session (sidang isbat), and some organisations announce their own date, so the start can differ by a day between countries and groups.

How to use it

  1. Choose your city and the calculation method your mosques use.
  2. Check the first day of Ramadan, and change it when your authority announces the start.
  3. Print the timetable or save it as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

What is Imsak?

A precautionary time shortly before Fajr, 10 minutes in Indonesia, to stop eating before the fast begins. The fast itself begins at Fajr.

When does Ramadan 2027 start?

By the Umm al-Qura calendar, 1 Ramadan 1448 is on 8 February 2027 and Eid al-Fitr on 9 March 2027; where the start depends on sighting the moon, it can be a day later.

Can I print it for my mosque?

Yes; check the times against your mosque's own method and precaution minutes first, and add extra minutes if they use them.
