Printable Calendar Maker

Make a clean calendar to print: the whole year on one page or a single month with room to write, on A4 or US Letter, with the week starting on Monday or Sunday and ISO week numbers if you want them.

Printable Calendar Maker: The calendar is drawn in your browser with month and weekday names in this page's language and weekends marked in red. The preview shows the page as it will print; the PDF and the PNG are made at 200 dpi at the exact paper size, and Print sends the same page to your printer. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Made in your browser: the calendar is drawn on this device and never uploaded.

The download is drawn at 200 dpi for printing; weekends are marked in red. Print at 100% or "actual size" so nothing is cut off.

Getting a clean printout

Most printers cannot print to the very edge of the sheet, and the print dialog often shrinks a page to fit its own margins. For the sharpest result, print the PDF at 100% or Actual size on the same paper size you chose here. The calendar keeps a margin of its own, so a little lost at the edge never cuts off a date.

A4 is the standard sheet in most of the world; US Letter is used in the United States, Canada, and parts of Latin America. The whole-year view fits twelve months on one page, three across in portrait or four in landscape; the month view gives each day a box large enough to write appointments in.

Monday or Sunday first, and week numbers

The international standard ISO 8601 starts the week on Monday, as do most calendars in Europe, Africa, and much of Asia. Calendars in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Brazil usually start on Sunday. The page suggests the custom for its language; switch it if your planner or your team uses the other one.

Week numbers in the margin are ISO week numbers, which run Monday to Sunday even when the grid starts on Sunday. They are handy for work schedules and school terms in countries that plan by week. To look up a week or see all of this year's weeks, use what week is it.

How to use it

  1. Choose the whole year or one month, and the year.
  2. Pick the paper size, the orientation, the first day of the week, and whether to show week numbers.
  3. Download the PDF or the PNG, or press Print.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my printout have a white border or cut off an edge?

Printers cannot print to the very edge of the paper. In the print dialog choose 100% or Actual size rather than Fit to page, and pick the same paper size as the calendar; the design leaves a margin so nothing important is lost.

Should the week start on Monday or Sunday?

Both are common. Monday is the international standard (ISO 8601) and the custom in most of Europe and Asia; Sunday is usual in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Brazil. The page suggests the custom for its language, and you can change it.

What are the week numbers?

ISO 8601 week numbers, used in schedules and planning in much of Europe: weeks run from Monday to Sunday, and week 1 is the week with the year's first Thursday. A year has 52 or 53 of them. Look up any week with the What week is it tool.

Does it include public holidays?

No. Holidays differ by country and region, and some move each year, so the calendar is left clean for you to mark the days that matter to you.
