Quote Generator (Free Printable Price Quote)
Make a professional quote or estimate with your logo, line items, tax, discount, and a valid-until date; print it or save it as a PDF, and turn it into an invoice once the customer accepts.
Quote Generator (Free Printable Price Quote): Each line is quantity times unit price, rounded to the cent; the discount comes off the subtotal, then tax is added, the same way as the invoice generator. Turn into an invoice copies the customer, items, tax, discount, and your details into the invoice generator, on the number after your last invoice, dated today and due in 30 days. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

What to put in a quote
Describe each item clearly enough that the customer knows exactly what is included, and list what is not, such as travel or materials charged separately. State the validity date, your payment terms, and how the customer accepts: a signature, an email, or a deposit.
To work out the price of your time first, use the freelance rate calculator; for tax on top of a price, the VAT calculator.
From quote to invoice
When the customer accepts, Turn into an invoice opens the invoice generator with the same customer, items, tax, and discount, on your next invoice number. Check the quantities against the work actually done before sending it.
The quote stays in the quote generator, so you can print it again or copy it for the next customer.
How to use it
- Fill in your details, the customer, and the items with quantities and prices.
- Set the tax, any discount, and the date the prices are valid until.

Privacy & limitations

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a quote and an invoice?
A quote offers a price before the work, valid for a period; an invoice asks for payment after it. A quote does not have to be paid.
How long should a quote be valid?
30 days is common; choose shorter when your costs change quickly, such as materials priced by the market.
Is a quote the same as an estimate?
An estimate is usually a rough guide that may change, while a quote is a firm price for the work described; write which it is in the notes.
