Draw / Whiteboard
Online Whiteboard
A free whiteboard in your browser: pen, highlighter, eraser, lines, arrows, shapes, and text, with undo, a grid or chalkboard background, full screen, and PNG download. Works with touch and a stylus.
Online Whiteboard: The board keeps every stroke as a line of points rather than as pixels, so undo and redo are exact, the board redraws sharply at any screen size, and it is saved in your browser between visits. A stylus that reports pressure draws thicker when pressed harder. The eraser removes ink but not the background, and the download can include the background or leave it transparent for pasting into slides. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Draw with a mouse, finger, or stylus; a stylus draws thicker when pressed harder. Keys: P pen, H highlighter, E eraser, L line, A arrow, R rectangle, O ellipse, T text. The board is saved in this browser.
Teaching and presenting
Share your screen in a video call and go full screen to use the board as a classroom whiteboard. The chalkboard backgrounds with white ink are easier to read on projectors; the grid and dots help with graphs, diagrams, and handwriting.
For printed grids to draw on by hand, use the graph paper generator, and for typed notes, the online notepad.
Using a drawing tablet
A stylus that reports pressure varies the pen's width as you press. If lines look jagged, slow down slightly: the board smooths each line, but very fast strokes on a slow device record fewer points.
How to use it
- Pick a tool, a colour, and a size, and draw with a mouse, finger, or stylus.
- Undo and redo as you go, switch to a grid, dots, or chalkboard, or go full screen to present.
- Download the board as a PNG; it is also saved in this browser.

Frequently asked questions
Can others draw on the board with me?
No, this board is for one device: for teaching from a shared screen, sketching an idea, or working out a problem. Share the result by downloading a PNG.
Is my drawing saved?
Yes, in this browser, so it is still there when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes it, and it does not move to other devices. Download a PNG to keep a copy.
Does it work on an iPad or a drawing tablet?
Yes. Touch draws directly, and an Apple Pencil, a Surface pen, or a Wacom stylus draws with pressure in browsers that report it.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
P pen, H highlighter, E eraser, L line, A arrow, R rectangle, O ellipse, and T text. Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z undoes, and Ctrl+Shift+Z or ⌘⇧Z redoes.
