Number Bonds Worksheet Generator (to 10, 20, and 100)
Make printable number bond worksheets: each bond shows a whole and two parts with one circle left empty, for numbers up to 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100, with new problems at a click and an answer key.
Number Bonds Worksheet Generator (to 10, 20, and 100): Each problem picks a whole and splits it into two parts that add up to it, such as 10 = 7 + 3, then leaves one circle empty: a part, the whole, or a mix. The problems come from a random seed, so the answer key matches the sheet you printed. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

A number bond shows a whole at the top and the two parts that make it below, such as 10 split into 7 and 3. Children fill in the empty circle. Print the sheet, then tick Show answers and print again for the answer key.
From bonds to sums
Knowing that 7 and 3 make 10 lets children work out 7 + 5 as 7 + 3 + 2 = 12, which is why bonds to 10 come before adding past ten.

Frequently asked questions
What are number bonds?
Pairs of numbers that make a whole, shown as a whole at the top joined to two parts. Bonds to 10, such as 6 and 4, are the base of mental addition and subtraction.
Which setting should I start with?
Bonds to 5 or 10 with one part blank for young children, then the whole blank, then bonds to 20 and 100.
Can a part be zero?
Yes: 10 = 10 + 0 is a bond too, and children should meet it.
