Mailto Link Generator (Subject, Body, CC, and BCC)
Create a mailto: link that opens an email with the recipients, CC, BCC, subject, and message filled in, encoded so spaces, line breaks, and symbols arrive intact, and copy the link or a ready HTML link to paste into a page.
Mailto Link Generator (Subject, Body, CC, and BCC): Each field is percent-encoded as RFC 6068 requires: spaces become %20 and line breaks %0D%0A, and characters such as & and ? are encoded so they do not break the link. A subject of “Hello there” becomes subject=Hello%20there. Several addresses are separated by commas. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

<a href="mailto:hello@example.com?subject=Question%20about%20your%20order&body=Hi%2C%0D%0A%0D%0AI%20have%20a%20question%20about%20order%20number%20">Email us</a>
Separate several addresses with commas. Every field is percent-encoded as RFC 6068 requires, with spaces as %20 and line breaks as %0D%0A, so the subject and message arrive intact in mail apps. Very long links can be cut off by some apps; keep the message short. A mailto link puts the address in the page, where spam bots can read it.
Spam
An address in a mailto link is visible to the bots that collect addresses for spam; for a public page, a contact form or a dedicated address can help.
Other links
To open a chat instead of an email, make a WhatsApp link.
How to use it
- Enter the recipient and any CC or BCC addresses.
- Write the subject and the message.
- Copy the link or the HTML, and try it.

Frequently asked questions
Why do spaces show as + in some links?
Some generators encode spaces as +, which is for web forms; in mailto links many mail apps show the + literally, so this tool uses %20.
Is there a length limit?
No formal one, but some mail apps and browsers cut off links of a few thousand characters, so keep the message short.
Will it work on phones?
Yes: tapping a mailto link opens the default mail app on iOS and Android, as on computers with a mail app set up.
