FreeCell: Play in Your Browser
Play classic numbered deals with four free cells, legal supermoves, safe foundation moves and undo.
FreeCell: Play in Your Browser: Move a fully visible 52-card deal into four ascending suit foundations. Build tableau columns down in alternating colours, use four single-card free cells, and move sequences only when enough temporary spaces exist. Choose classic deal numbers 1–32000. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Build down in alternating colours. A free cell holds one card; empty columns accept any card. Supermoves use (free cells + 1) × 2 to the power of empty spare columns, excluding an empty destination. Foundations build up by suit from ace. Automatic moves check that lower opposing-colour cards are already safe. Select a card then a pile with a click, tap, Tab or Enter, or drag with a mouse. Numbered deals 1–32000 use the publicly documented Microsoft-compatible LCG algorithm. Some deals are unwinnable.
Rules and sequence capacity
PySolFC describes alternating-colour columns and temporary free-cell storage: https://pysolfc.sourceforge.io/doc/rules/freecell.html . Empty columns double the capacity for moving a legal sequence.
Public numbered-deal algorithm
The public algorithm uses a 32-bit seed, seed × 214013 + 2531011, the upper 15 random bits, and selection with replacement by the final remaining deck card. The initial deck is rank-major, with clubs, diamonds, hearts then spades. This page implements those facts independently. Freecell Solver publishes compatible generators under the MIT licence: https://github.com/shlomif/fc-solve . No Microsoft program code or artwork is included.

Frequently asked questions
How many cards may move together?
The maximum is (empty free cells + 1) × 2 raised to the number of empty spare columns. An empty destination column is excluded from the spare-column count. The sequence must also descend in alternating colours.
Where do the numbered deals come from?
They use the publicly documented Microsoft-compatible linear congruential generator, not proprietary code. The same number gives the same layout. Deal 1 matches the classic layout; some numbered deals are unwinnable.
When is an automatic foundation move safe?
Aces and twos are safe when legal. Higher cards also require both opposing-colour foundations to have the preceding rank and the other same-colour foundation to be no more than two ranks behind. You can turn automatic moves off or undo them.
