Frequently asked questions

Does the SVG download trace my photo?

No. Raster input is embedded as a PNG data URI inside an SVG clipPath. Use Image to SVG for tracing.

Does SVG input stay vector?

Its supported vector geometry stays vector. Existing embedded raster images stay raster. Scripts, animation and external resources are removed.

What does border width mean?

Border width is measured in output pixels. The outline is inset so the border fits inside the output canvas.

Can I position the crop without dragging?

Yes. Horizontal and vertical position fields provide the same controls from the keyboard.
