Brazilian Night Work Calculator: Reduced Hours and Night Overtime
Calculate adicional noturno, Brazilian night work pay, with a 20% urban premium and reduced hours, or a 25% rural premium with actual clock hours. Combine night and overtime premiums.
Brazilian Night Work Calculator: Reduced Hours and Night Overtime: Converts urban clock hours into paid night hours using 60 divided by 52.5, then applies the 20% premium. Rural work uses 60-minute hours and 25%. Night overtime multiplies hourly salary by both the night and overtime factors, so the premiums compound. Estimates cover ordinary CLT employment; collective agreements, court rulings and special regimes are not modelled. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Frequently asked questions
Which clock hours count as night work?
The urban window is 22:00 to 05:00. Rural agriculture uses 21:00 to 05:00 and rural livestock uses 20:00 to 04:00. Enter only qualifying hours after unpaid breaks; extensions beyond these windows are outside this estimate.
How do seven urban clock hours become eight paid hours?
An urban paid night hour lasts 52 minutes 30 seconds. Seven hours contain 420 minutes, and 420 divided by 52.5 is eight paid hours. The reduced-hour rule does not apply to ordinary rural night work.
How are night and overtime premiums combined?
With a 20% night premium and 50% overtime, multiply the hourly rate by 1.20 and then 1.50, giving 1.80 times the daytime rate. Reduced urban hours are applied before the monetary calculation. The result separates regular base salary from additional pay.
