Frequently asked questions
Which Urdu layout does this use?
CRULP phonetic v1.1 base and Shift positions. This is a phonetic convention rather than the Windows Urdu or NLA national arrangement.
How do I add vowel marks?
Type the letter first, then use Shift for a combining vowel mark. Dotted circles on the keys are display aids and are not copied into your text.
Why does punctuation move?
Urdu runs from right to left, while Latin words and digits may run from left to right. Your browser applies the Unicode bidirectional rules.
