Online Scoreboard
A big, simple scoreboard for 2 to 6 teams: tap to add points, choose names and colours, undo mistakes, and go full screen on a TV or tablet with the screen kept awake.
Online Scoreboard: Each team's score is shown in large figures in its colour. Points can go up in ones, in 1, 2, and 3 for basketball, or in other steps, and every change can be undone. In full screen the page asks the device to keep the screen on, so a tablet propped up beside the court does not dim mid-game. The scores are kept in this browser, so a refresh does not lose them. Tap a score to add a point. Keys: 1, 2, 3… add to that team, with Shift to take away; Ctrl+Z undoes. In full screen the screen stays awake.
Showing it on a big screen
Open the scoreboard on a laptop connected to a TV or projector, or cast the browser tab, and use full screen. A tablet on a stand works well for table tennis or a quiz, and a cheap wireless keyboard lets a scorer update it from the side.
For a whole competition, draw the matches with the tournament bracket or a round robin, and time periods with the stopwatch.
Keeping it fair
Agree on one scorer and announce each point as it is added; Undo puts right any mistake. For games with sets, such as volleyball or tennis, keep the set count in the team name, such as “Blue (1)”.
How to use it
- Name the teams and pick their colours.
- Tap a score, or press 1, 2, 3 on a keyboard, to add points; use the minus buttons or Undo to correct.
- Press Full screen to show it on a TV, projector, or tablet.

Frequently asked questions
Can I control it from a keyboard?
Yes: press 1 to add a point to the first team, 2 for the second, and so on, Shift with the number to take a point away, and Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z to undo. A wireless keyboard or presenter remote works from across the room.
Will the screen go dark during a game?
In full screen the page asks the browser to keep the screen awake, which works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox. If a device does not support it, set its sleep timer to a longer time.
Can I keep score for more than two teams?
Yes, up to six, for quizzes, card games, or a sports day. Each team gets its own colour.
