Shirt & Pants Template Maker for Roblox

Make a 585 × 559 classic shirt or pants template, or a 512 × 512 T-shirt image. Fill faces, draw, add images or text, and save a transparent PNG on your phone or computer.

Shirt & Pants Template Maker for Roblox: Design classic clothing without installing an image editor. Shirt and pants modes keep the canvas at 585 × 559 pixels; T-shirt mode makes a square 512 × 512 image for the front of the torso. Start with transparency and fill only the clothing faces. Choose a solid colour, stripes, checker pattern or gradient for one region or all faces of a body part. The brush and eraser work with touch, a mouse or a pen. Place your own image with fit, crop or stretch, then adjust its zoom and offset. Add text with fonts already available on your device. The block character shows each face in its proper position. Drag it or use the arrow buttons to rotate it. Mirror a right arm or leg onto the left, or copy the torso front to its back. Labels and R15 guides are editing aids and never become part of your PNG. Undo or redo up to 30 editing steps. The latest design in each mode is saved on this device. Import an existing PNG at the exact size to continue editing; areas between the clothing faces stay transparent. Export a copy before clearing browser storage or changing devices. The classic template layout

Classic shirts and pants wrap a flat PNG around the torso and limbs. Both use an overall size of 585 × 559 pixels. Torso front and back faces are 128 × 128, torso side faces are 64 × 128, and torso top and bottom faces are 128 × 64. Limb side faces are 64 × 128, with 64 × 64 caps.

The optional R15 lines mark useful height limits for glove coverage on shirts, or shoe coverage and lower-leg details on pants. They are guides for placing details, not seams to draw into your clothing. Source: Roblox Creator Documentation, Classic Clothing Templates. Avatar proportions can change the appearance of the finished design.

Classic clothing and layered clothing

A classic T-shirt places a square image on the torso front. A classic shirt or pants item uses a flat template with faces for the torso and arms or legs. This tool exports those classic PNG assets so you can upload them yourself through Creator Hub.

Layered clothing instead uses 3D geometry and cages that allow garments to fit different avatar bodies. A flat PNG template is not a layered garment. Source: Roblox Creator Documentation, Classic Clothing, Layered Clothing and Publishing to Marketplace. This editor covers classic clothing only.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a classic shirt or pants template?

Both use a PNG exactly 585 × 559 pixels. This editor exports that size without resizing. Classic T-shirt mode exports a square 512 × 512 PNG for the torso front.

What do the template regions mean?

The torso has front, back, right, left, top and bottom faces. Each arm, or each leg in pants mode, also has six faces. F and B mean front and back, R and L mean the character’s right and left sides, and U and D mean top and bottom. The character’s right appears on your left when you look at it from the front.

Why does my shirt look different on R15?

R15 avatars have different body proportions and can stretch classic clothing. Turn on R15 guides to see useful height limits for gloves on shirts, or shoes and lower-leg details on pants. The preview uses simple R6 proportions and helps you check face placement; it does not reproduce every avatar body.

Can the background stay transparent?

Yes. New designs start transparent, and PNG exports keep their alpha channel. The eraser restores transparency. Shirt and pants tools clip marks to the face rectangles, leaving the gaps transparent. Imported templates are also clipped to these rectangles. Labels, outlines and dashed guides are never exported.

How do I upload the finished PNG?

Export the PNG, open Roblox’s Creator Hub, and find Avatar items. Upload the PNG as a Classic Shirt / Classic Pants / T-shirt, matching the mode you used. There is a Robux upload fee; check the current amount in Roblox before submitting. This editor does not upload files for you.

Is this tool affiliated with Roblox?

Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.

Does it work on a phone or iPad?

Yes. Tap a face to fill it, use the compact tool row, and draw with touch. Zoom buttons enlarge the canvas; scroll to reach details. The region list and Fill selected button also let you edit without tapping a small face. Download the PNG, then upload it yourself through Roblox.

Does it make layered clothing?

This editor makes classic shirt, pants and T-shirt PNG files. Layered clothing uses a separate 3D mesh and cage workflow and cannot be made from this flat template.
