Writing and reading practice
Study the numbered steps, trace the faint model, then try the empty square. Cross guides help place the centre and proportions. Stroke conventions and handwritten forms can vary; follow your teacher’s model when it differs.
For reading support, use the furigana generator. For switching scripts, use the kana converter. These worksheets focus on writing shapes.
How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Does this include hiragana and katakana?
Yes, where KanjiVG includes them. Characters missing from the collection are clearly labelled.
Where are the stroke numbers?
Every cumulative step is numbered. Numbers are also drawn on the animation where the source supplies their positions. A notice appears when those positions are absent.
Why are there no readings?
This stroke collection does not supply readings. Use the furigana generator separately for reading support.
