Flag Quiz: Guess the Flags of the World

Test yourself on world flags: guess the countries of 10, 20, 50, or all the flags of the world or one continent, by choosing from four names or typing the answer, with neighbouring countries as the tricky options, a list of the flags you missed, and your best score kept on this device.

Flag Quiz: Guess the Flags of the World: Each round picks flags at random from the 193 member states of the United Nations and its two observer states, with three wrong answers taken from the same region wherever possible, which is where flags look alike. Typed answers are forgiving about capitals, accents, and "the". Country names come from your browser in the language of the page. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries are included?

The 193 UN member states plus the Holy See and Palestine, the two UN observer states.

Wrong options come from the same continent, so you have to tell Chad from Romania and Indonesia from Monaco.

Is it good for school?

Yes: play by continent, aim for a perfect round, and then try typing the names instead of choosing.
