Frequently asked questions

Is this the Eastern layout offered by my operating system?

This is XKB Armenian phonetic, which is different from the XKB eastern arrangement and the Windows eastern layout. Check the grid if you are used to another keyboard.

How do I distinguish the two r letters?

Use physical R for the ordinary r and the 8 position for the other r letter. Shift gives the corresponding capitals.

Where can I find numbers and punctuation?

Open Extra characters for digits and Armenian punctuation. The base number positions also contain letters; Shift follows the displayed layout.
