Username Generator: Keywords, Styles and Platform Rules: Choose a style and a platform, add your own keywords if you like, and get 30 username ideas that already fit that platform's length and character rules. Lock a word you like and regenerate the rest. Offensive words are filtered out, including disguised spellings. Availability is not checked, so try your favourite on the platform. The locked word stays whole in every new candidate. Each candidate uses one keyword when keywords are supplied. Very short ranges may not provide 30 distinct results.

No availability checking: these are ideas, not confirmed available usernames. Platform APIs would be needed to check availability.

Preset range: 2–30 characters. Suggestions use Latin letters with optional numbers and underscores; enter keywords without periods.

Platform presets

Instagram usernames can be up to 30 characters of letters, numbers, periods and underscores: https://help.instagram.com/583107688369069 . X usernames are up to 15 characters of letters, numbers and underscores; X's help pages give different minimums, so the generator starts at 6 to be safe: https://help.x.com/en/managing-your-account/x-username-rules and https://help.x.com/en/managing-your-account/change-x-handle .

TikTok and Twitch

TikTok usernames use letters, numbers, underscores and periods and cannot end with a period; the preset allows 2 to 24 characters: https://support.tiktok.com/en/getting-started/setting-up-your-profile/changing-your-username . Twitch usernames are 4 to 25 characters; the generator starts each name with a letter and uses only letters, numbers and underscores: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/creating-an-account-with-twitch?language=en_US . Platforms change their rules from time to time, so confirm on the sign-up page.

Generation and filters

Generated names use Latin letters with optional digits and underscores. Words come from hand-picked lists for each style, and every name is checked against a list of offensive English words, including spellings that swap letters for digits. Choices use your browser's cryptographic random numbers. No registration or availability request is sent.

How to use it

  1. Select a platform, style and length range, then add optional keywords.
  2. Generate 30 suggestions and copy individual names or the whole list.
  3. Lock a word to preserve it when you regenerate.

Privacy & limitations

Generation and filtering run in your browser. Keywords are not uploaded and no platform APIs are called.

Frequently asked questions

Are the names available?

Availability is not checked. Platform APIs would be needed for that; confirm the name on the platform before using it.

Why are there no results?

The settings may not allow 30 distinct names. Widen the length range, shorten the locked word, or allow numbers.

Does the filter catch every offensive word?

No. It is a conservative English substring filter with common leetspeak substitutions. It can reject harmless words and does not cover every language or context.

Are platform rules guaranteed?

No. Help pages can be incomplete or inconsistent. The presets implement the stated ranges and conservative character rules; verify your final choice on the platform.
