Sample Profile Generator

Generate unmistakably fictional profile fixtures for testing.

Sample Profile Generator: Create fictional user records for account tables, profile cards and development fixtures. Sample Profile Generator returns a JSON array containing a TEST identifier, an invented name, an example-domain email, a scoped fictional phone number and a role. These are synthetic people, not anonymised customer records or verified identities. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Waiting

Fictional test fixtures only. Do not use these generated identities, addresses, or IDs as real records.

Record rule and one possible profile

For zero-based row index i, the ID ends with i + 1 padded to four digits, the email’s numeric suffix is i + 1, and the phone ends with 0100 + i. With Rows = 1 and the first name and role drawn, the object is {"id":"PROFILE-TEST-0001","name":"Avery Example","email":"avery.example.1@example.com","phone":"+1-202-555-0100","role":"tester"}. The widget returns this inside a formatted JSON array. Different draws change name and role, while the first ID and phone stay the same. Save a generated file if repeatable tests require identical records.

The scope of reserved contact values

RFC 2606 (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2606) reserves example.com for examples. NANPA (https://nanpa.com/numbering/555-line-numbers) reserves 555-0100 through 555-0199 for fictional use within the North American Numbering Plan; this is not a claim about every 555 number or other countries. The 1–100 row bound keeps these phones within that interval. No IP address is generated. If extending a screenshot fixture with IPv4 values, use RFC 5737 documentation blocks, not arbitrary public endpoints, and keep all external calls mocked.

How to use it

  1. Choose a whole row count from 1 to 100.
  2. Generate a synthetic batch in your browser.
  3. Copy or download the fixture and save it for repeatable tests.

Privacy & limitations

Generation stays on this device. The records are fictional test fixtures; review and isolate the application that consumes them.

Frequently asked questions

Can these profiles receive a verification email or SMS?

They are placeholders for display and mocked workflows, not contact destinations. Disable real outbound messaging in your test environment and use a captured or mocked delivery service. A reserved example domain or fictional phone range does not make a staging system wired to live providers an appropriate test setup.

Are names and identifiers unique across repeated runs?

Names come from five choices and can repeat within a batch. IDs start at PROFILE-TEST-0001 on each generation, and email suffixes also restart at 1. They distinguish rows within one batch, not across batches. Namespace or replace IDs before combining several generated sets.

Will a profile batch cover international name validation?

No. The names are short ASCII placeholders, and every phone uses the same North American format. Add your own cases for apostrophes, long names, combining marks and different scripts. The four role choices are tester, analyst, designer and operator; they may not match your application’s roles.
