Sample Address Generator
Generate invented address-shaped fixtures for interface testing.
Sample Address Generator: Fill address-shaped forms and tables with invented locations. Sample Address Generator produces JSON rows with a synthetic street, city, region, postal code and country plus a TEST ID. Use them to inspect field mapping, wrapping and storage; they are not deliverable addresses or geocoding reference data. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Fictional result
WaitingFictional test fixtures only. Do not use these generated identities, addresses, or IDs as real records.
Address construction and an example row
With zero-based index i, house number = 100 + i, ID suffix = i + 1 padded to four digits, and postal text = T followed by 100 + i and -TEST. For Rows = 1, selecting the first street and city gives {"id":"ADDRESS-TEST-0001","street":"100 Fictional Finch Way","city":"Sampleton","region":"ZZ","postalCode":"T100-TEST","country":"ZZ"} inside a JSON array. Thus 100 + 0 gives house number 100, and the first ordinal gives 0001. Street and city choices may change when you generate again, but numbering restarts each time.
Fixture design without real destinations
Keep the downloaded rows in a test-only dataset and label screenshots as synthetic. Reserved internet values are a separate convention: RFC 2606 (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2606) covers example.com, not street addresses. RFC 5737 (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5737) supplies 192.0.2.0/24, 198.51.100.0/24 and 203.0.113.0/24 for IPv4 documentation; none is added by this address generator, and they are not live service endpoints. The row control accepts whole counts from 1 to 100. Save and edit a batch to create repeatable layout tests, rather than relying on future random choices.
How to use it
- Choose a whole row count from 1 to 100.
- Generate a synthetic batch in your browser.
- Copy or download the fixture and save it for repeatable tests.
Privacy & limitations
Generation stays on this device. The records are fictional test fixtures; review and isolate the application that consumes them.

Frequently asked questions
Are ZZ and T100-TEST valid shipping details?
They are deliberate placeholders in this output, not verified country, region or postal data. A form may reject them, accept them or transform them according to its own rules. No universal rejection is guaranteed. Use a carrier’s documented sandbox fixtures when testing postal validation or rate calculation.
Can I test maps, tax jurisdictions or household matching?
These rows supply no coordinates or validated geography. Invented city and street names cannot establish a route, tax location or real household. Mock those lookups for UI tests and use an appropriate separately sourced dataset for geographic assertions. Do not send these fixtures into a live fulfilment workflow.
How much variety will a batch contain?
Street and city names each come from five choices, while house numbers rise by one. All rows share region ZZ and country ZZ. This is useful for basic address layouts but misses empty components, apartment lines, right-to-left scripts and country-specific field ordering. Add those cases explicitly for your product.
