Pix QR Code Generator

Make a static Pix QR code and copy-and-paste code for your Pix key, with an optional amount and description, following the Banco Central do Brasil's BR Code standard.

Pix QR Code Generator: The Pix code follows the BR Code standard: fields for the key, an optional description, the currency (986, the real), the amount, the country, the recipient's name and city, an identifier, and a CRC16 checksum that bank apps verify. Phone keys get the +55 country code, and CPF and CNPJ keys are checked before the code is made. Codes are static: they can be paid again and again, and no bank or payment provider is involved in making them. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

The name and city must match what your bank shows for the key; accents are removed, as many bank apps require. Without an amount, the payer types it in.

A static Pix code made on this device, following the Banco Central do Brasil's BR Code standard. Test it with a small payment before printing it.

Printing the code

Print the QR code at least 3 cm wide on a counter card or a receipt, with the recipient's name beside it so payers can check it before confirming. Test it with a small payment from another account first.

To check a CPF or CNPJ key before using it, use the CPF and CNPJ validator; for QR codes for other things, such as links, the QR code generator.

Static and dynamic Pix

A static code like this one holds the key and, if you want, a fixed amount, and can be paid any number of times. Dynamic codes, made by banks and payment providers for each sale, point to a payment record that can expire or be paid once, and confirm payment automatically to the seller's system.

How to use it

  1. Enter your Pix key: CPF, CNPJ, phone, email, or random key.
  2. Enter your name and city as your bank shows them, and an amount if you want one fixed.
  3. Download the QR code to print or share, or copy the Pix code (copia e cola).

Privacy & limitations

The code is made in your browser; your key and details are not sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is this code safe to share?

It contains only your Pix key, name, city, and the amount, which the payer sees anyway in their bank app before paying. Payments go straight to the account behind the key.

Why does my bank show a different name?

The payer's app shows the account holder registered for the key; the name in the code is for display. Use the same name to avoid confusing payers.

Can I make a code for a single payment?

Static codes can be paid more than once; codes that expire or can be paid only once (dynamic Pix) come from your bank or payment provider.
