Numerology Calculator: Free Full Numerology Chart

Calculate Life path, Expression, Soul urge, Personality, Birthday, Maturity and personal calendar numbers with visible workings and two letter tables.

Numerology Calculator: Free Full Numerology Chart: Builds a free full numerology chart with Life path, Expression or Destiny, Soul urge or Heart's desire, Personality, Birthday, Maturity and personal year, month and day. Each number includes a neutral explanation and its calculation steps. Pythagorean name values are the default; switch to Chaldean to compare name numbers using a second documented letter table. Y is always a consonant here. A share card contains a six-number core grid without your name or birth date. The chart presents a cultural tradition and makes no predictions. Accents are removed, spaces and punctuation are ignored, and digits are ignored in names. Name numbers add the letters of the whole name and then reduce, keeping 11, 22 and 33. Some practitioners reduce each part of the name first, which can give a different result.

A, E, I, O and U are vowels; Y is always a consonant here, even when pronounced as a vowel.

All sums stop at 1–9 or master numbers 11, 22 and 33; a birthday can retain only 11 or 22, and an empty letter group is shown as 0.

The Chaldean option changes only the name-letter values; the same reduction and date conventions apply to both systems.

Numerology is a cultural tradition with no predictive power, and lucky numbers do not change the odds in games of chance.

Letter tables and reduction rules

The Pythagorean table repeats 1–9: 1 AJS; 2 BKT; 3 CLU; 4 DMV; 5 ENW; 6 FOX; 7 GPY; 8 HQZ; 9 IR. The Chaldean table uses 1 AIJQY; 2 BKR; 3 CGLS; 4 DMT; 5 EHNX; 6 UVW; 7 OZ; 8 FP, with no letter assigned 9. Cheiro's Book of Numbers (1926), available through the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/search?query=title%3A%28Cheiro%27s+Book+of+Numbers%29), documents the historical Chaldean letter values. These are traditional conventions.

Accents are stripped and names need Latin letters; punctuation, spaces and digits are ignored. A, E, I, O and U are vowels, while Y is always a consonant here. A letter group with no letters has sum 0. The name system changes the letter values only; the same master-number stopping rules apply to both tables.

Digit reduction stops at 1–9, 11, 22 or 33. Life path reduces birth month, birth day and birth year separately before adding them. Birthday reduces the day of the month, retaining 11 and 22. Maturity reduces Life path plus Expression. Personal year reduces birth month, birth day and calendar year separately, then adds and reduces. Personal month reduces personal year plus calendar month. Personal day directly reduces personal year plus calendar month plus calendar day. The calendar year changes on 1 January.

The tradition and its limits

Numerology assigns symbolic meanings to numbers as a cultural practice. The Encyclopaedia Britannica overview (https://www.britannica.com/topic/number-symbolism/Numerology) describes the tradition in the wider history of number symbolism. The descriptions here are original, neutral summaries for reflection.

These calculations do not measure personality or predict events. A lucky number does not alter the odds in a lottery or any other game of chance. Different traditions, spellings and reduction rules can produce different results; the arithmetic shown here makes this calculator's choices explicit.

How to use it

  1. Enter your full birth name in Latin letters and your birth date.
  2. Calculate your chart, switch the letter table and open each calculation to follow the steps.
  3. Explore the personal year, month and day or save a core-number card without personal details.

Privacy & limitations

Your name and birth date stay in your browser and are never included in analytics or share cards. Only a chosen calendar date is placed in the date link parameter; your birth date and name are never added to it.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in this free numerology chart?

The chart shows Life path, Expression or Destiny, Soul urge or Heart's desire, Personality, Birthday, Maturity and personal year, month and day. Open Show calculation under each number for the sums and reductions. The life path calculator has a deeper comparison of the two birth-date methods.

What is the difference between Pythagorean and Chaldean numerology?

Pythagorean values repeat 1–9 from A to Z. Chaldean uses a different grouping from 1–8 and assigns no letter 9. Switching the table recalculates Expression, Soul urge, Personality and Maturity, while birth-date numbers stay the same. Both tables are shown, and both use this calculator's 11, 22 and 33 stopping rule.

Is Y a vowel in the Soul urge number?

This calculator follows one fixed convention: only A, E, I, O and U are vowels, and Y always counts as a consonant. Some numerology traditions treat Y according to pronunciation, so their results can differ. A name with no vowels has Soul urge 0, which means an empty letter group rather than a traditional core number.

Should I use my birth name or current name?

For this chart, enter the full birth name. Accents are removed; spaces, punctuation and digits do not contribute. Use a Latin transliteration for names in other scripts. A changed spelling can change the name numbers, which illustrates the dependence of the tradition on the chosen letters.

Can a lucky number help me win the lottery?

No. Numerology is a cultural tradition with no predictive power, and lucky numbers have no effect on lottery odds or any other game of chance. The chart offers symbolic descriptions and does not measure personality or forecast events.

What do Maturity and the personal calendar numbers mean?

Maturity reduces Life path plus Expression. Personal year combines reduced birth month, birth day and calendar year; personal month adds the calendar month; personal day directly adds personal year, calendar month and calendar day. These are traditional reflection themes. Today uses the device's local date, and a chosen date can be stored in the link.
