GST Calculator: Estimate in Rupees

Add or remove GST with editable Indian rates, CGST/SGST or IGST splits and generic GST presets.

GST Calculator: Estimate in Rupees: Calculates a net amount, GST and gross amount. Intra-state Indian tax is split equally into CGST and SGST; inter-state tax is shown as IGST. The September 2025 shortcuts are 0%, 5%, 18% and 40%, with historical 12% and 28% retained. Custom rates and Australia 10%, New Zealand 15% and Canada 5% federal presets change only the arithmetic rate. All figures use ₹ display units without conversion. Results are estimates. Rates, payment dates, fees and taxes can change the actual amount.

GST added = net × rate ÷ 100. GST removed = gross − gross ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100). Presets change only the rate. All amounts use ₹ display units; the arithmetic works in any currency without conversion.

The September 2025 changes introduced main rates of 5% and 18%, plus a special 40% rate. This shortcut list is not a goods classification guide; special rates and exceptions require the applicable notification. 12% and 28% are retained for historical calculations.
