Favicon Converter
Turn one image into a complete favicon package — every PNG size, a multi-resolution favicon.ico, and a site.webmanifest — as a single zip.
Favicon Converter: TOEA renders your image at 16, 32, 180, 192, and 512 pixels, packs the two small sizes into a multi-resolution favicon.ico, writes a matching site.webmanifest, and zips all seven files together. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Keep the ICO file in the root
Browsers request /favicon.ico from the root of a site even when no page links to it, and some feed readers, bookmarking tools, and crawlers look nowhere else, so keep the ICO file in the root rather than in an images folder. Where the page head does link icons, browsers use those links first, which lets the PNG files serve modern browsers while the ICO covers everything else. See MDN’s icon documentation.
Adjusting the manifest
The generated site.webmanifest uses the site name for both name and short_name. The short name is the label under a home-screen icon, where about 12 characters fit before it is cut off, so shorten it if the name is long. The icons are listed without "purpose": "maskable", so Android may show them shrunk inside a white circle. To fill the launcher's shape, add a separate maskable icon whose important content sits within the central circle, 80% of the width.
How to use it
- Choose a square image, ideally 512 × 512 or larger.
- Set the site name and theme color used by the manifest.
- Build the package and download the zip.
Privacy & limitations
The image never leaves your browser: every size, the ICO container, and the zip are assembled on your device. Transparent source images stay transparent.

Frequently asked questions
What is in the zip?
favicon.ico, favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png, android-chrome-192x192.png, android-chrome-512x512.png, and site.webmanifest — the same set favicon generators conventionally produce.
Does the favicon.ico hold more than one size?
Yes. It contains both a 16 × 16 and a 32 × 32 image, stored as PNG entries so the alpha channel survives.
Where do the files go?
Unzip them into the root of your site, then link favicon-32x32.png, favicon-16x16.png, and apple-touch-icon.png from your HTML head and point the manifest link at site.webmanifest.
Why does my icon still look wrong after uploading it?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively and separately from ordinary files. Open the PNG URL directly, or check in a private window, to confirm the new file is being served.
