Runs entirely in your browser
Everything stays in your browser. Fonts are those already on your device; if one is missing, the closest available sans-serif is used. No single setting suits every reader, so try a few and keep what feels easiest.
Source
The defaults follow the British Dyslexia Association's Dyslexia Style Guide 2023, which also recommends left-aligned text with a ragged right edge, and bold rather than underlining or italics for emphasis.

Frequently asked questions
Do special dyslexia fonts help?
Studies have not found that special dyslexia fonts improve reading speed or accuracy over common sans-serif fonts; spacing and line length matter more, and comfort is personal.
Why not white?
Bright white can feel dazzling, and the style guide suggests cream or a soft pastel; some readers prefer a dark background.
Will it change the original document?
No: it only shows a copy of the text you paste; copy or print the result if you want to keep it.
