TI-83 Plus Alternative: Free Online Graphing Calculator
An independent graphing calculator with a classic screen and the TI-83 Plus key positions, menus and syntax.
TI-83 Plus Alternative: Free Online Graphing Calculator: Practise the key sequences you use on a TI-83 Plus, with a classic linear screen. The TI-84 Plus (non-CE) uses the same key layout. This page keeps the familiar y=, window, zoom, trace and graph row, and the arrow cluster beside mode and stat. It has no MathPrint switch, stacked fraction template or alpha f1–f4 shortcut menu. To turn 0.75 into a fraction, press . 7 5, then math → MATH → ►Frac → enter: the answer is 3/4. Enter 1 ÷ 3 with the same suffix to see 1/3. Division stays linear on the screen, so parentheses matter when a numerator contains a sum. For normal probabilities press 2nd → vars → normalcdf( and complete the bounds, mean and standard deviation. Use invNorm( for a percentile or binompdf( for a discrete binomial probability. For one-variable statistics, press stat → EDIT, enter observations into L1, then stat → CALC → 1-Var Stats and choose L1. For a straight-line fit, put x in L1 and y in L2, then choose LinReg(ax+b); the result can be stored in Y1. For intersections, enable two functions, press graph, then 2nd → trace → intersect and choose bounds and a guess. Store a value with sto→ followed by an alpha letter. The key map beside the body lists every primary, 2nd and alpha legend. Apps, programming, link transfers and other graph modes are unavailable. This independent browser calculator does not run TI software. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Key layout and classic workflows
Texas Instruments’ TI-83 Plus guidebook (https://education.ti.com/en/guidebook/search/ti-83-plus) documents the keyboard, MATH conversion commands and classic screen. Use its sequences when practising.
Statistics and numerical methods
The NIST/SEMATECH e-Handbook (https://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook/) explains statistical distributions and inference. Browser calculations use numerical approximations.
How to use it
- Press y=, enter a function in Y1, then press graph.
- Press stat to edit lists or select a statistics wizard.
- Use math → MATH → ►Frac to display a decimal as a fraction.

Can I use this in an exam?
Use this page for practice. An online calculator is generally not allowed in a proctored exam; check the rules and approved device list for your exam.
Where are the fraction templates?
The classic TI-83 Plus workflow uses division and the MATH ►Frac conversion. This page deliberately omits the CE fraction shortcuts.
