Press Space to start and to split, Backspace to undo a split, and R to reset. Green deltas are ahead of your personal best, red behind; a star marks a best segment. Records are kept in this browser; save a splits file to keep them elsewhere.
Keys
Space starts the timer and splits, Backspace undoes the last split, and R resets. Keys do nothing while you are typing in a box.
Simple timing
For laps without segments, use the stopwatch.
How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Does it keep running in the background?
Yes: the time comes from the clock, so it stays correct while the tab is hidden; the display catches up when you come back.
Are best segments saved if I reset?
Yes: segments you finished before resetting count toward your best segments, but only a finished run can set a personal best.
Can I use it with a game controller or global hotkeys?
No: a web page only receives keys while its tab has focus, so keep this window focused or use a desktop timer for global hotkeys.
