Writing / Clear requests
Prompt Builder: Structure a Clear Request
Write a role, task, context, input data, constraints, output format, examples and tone. Preview Markdown headings or XML-style tags, copy the prompt, and save or exchange named templates as JSON.
Prompt Builder: Structure a Clear Request: Joins non-empty sections in a fixed order and shows the character count. Markdown uses translated headings; XML-style output escapes special characters inside stable tags. Four starters cover document summaries, emails, explanations and comparisons. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the system prompt builder?
This editor helps you write an everyday request for a chat assistant. The system prompt builder is for developers defining assistant behaviour.
Must I fill in every section?
No. Empty and whitespace-only sections are omitted.
Can I move templates to another browser?
Export your saved templates as JSON and import the file in the other browser. Imports add templates and reject duplicate names; they do not silently replace existing templates.
