Image Comparison Slider: Before and After Photos

Compare two pictures with a draggable before-and-after slider, such as an edit and its original, two renovation photos, or two versions of a design; add labels, switch to side by side, and download the comparison as one PNG at full resolution.

Image Comparison Slider: Before and After Photos: The after picture is drawn over the before picture and cut off at the slider, so dragging wipes between them. The download is a single picture at the before picture's full size, split where the slider stands with a white line, or both side by side, with your labels in the corners. Runs 100% locally in your browser with zero server file uploads.

Drag across the picture, or use the arrow keys, to wipe between the two. The download is a single picture at the before picture's full size, split where the slider is, or the two side by side. Your pictures never leave your browser.

Lining up

Take both photos from the same spot with the same zoom, or crop them to the same frame, so the slider shows only what changed.

Several pictures

To put several pictures side by side in a grid, use the photo collage maker.

How to use it

Frequently asked questions

Do the pictures need to be the same size?

They should have the same proportions; the after picture is stretched to the before picture's size, so line them up and crop them the same way first.

Can I put the slider on my website?

This tool makes a picture of the comparison; a live slider on a website needs code on that site.

Can I compare more than two pictures?

Not at once: compare two, then swap one of them.
